Key Club ran a collection as part of the food drive, which made a lot of sense since they are a service-focused student organization. Students reaching other students is one of the better ways to spread the word, partly because people respond more when the ask comes from someone they already know. The photo shows one of our team members doing a pickup from a Key Club collection point, with the Project Refill box in the back of the car ready to go.
These pickups happened in the last couple weeks of the drive and made up a real part of the final count. It's the kind of collaboration we want to keep building on, with student organizations working alongside each other toward the same goal.
